picture: mossy oak tree at Gladstone Nature Trail

I recently walked the Gladstone Nature Trail, just because I was driving past it and had a few minutes.

If you are like me, you have a thing for oak trees.

Okay, maybe you aren’t like me.

I have always been fascinated by oak trees. The way the branches twist and turn; it almost seems as though the tree must experience pain as it grows.

If you have ever cut oak with a chainsaw, or split it with a maul, you know how stubborn oak is.

I snapped this pic with the stock camera app on my Infuse, and I spent a lot of time working with it in several other apps.

I finally settled on this look here, which was achieved using pixlr-o-matic for Android. Specifically, the “Peter” filter, and the “Perga” border.

I am just now starting to really use pixlr-o-matic on a regular basis. The combination of options is truly staggering. I am sure it will feature prominently in future posts.

If you would like to learn more about the Gladstone Nature Trail, I wrote a post about it on my other blog.

Pixlr-o-matic is available for free on the Android market.
